Arctic Ocean has set a new record low for the wintertime in a region strongly
affected by long-term trends of global warming. Sea ice around the North Pole
expands to its biggest extent of the year in February or March after a deep
freeze in the winter polar darkness and shrinks to the smallest of the year
in September.

by the bigger traditional boat. The captain of the small boat said that he
didn’t realize that the bigger boar was coming. In that accident one killed
and six injured.

cuts power for four hours a day to save energy

Venezuela is introducing
power cuts of four hours a day to deal with a worsening energy crisis. The cuts
will last for 40 days as the country struggles under a severe drought
limiting hydroelectric output.
